I suffered with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress, insomnia, and went down a very bad path. I started getting into a lot of trouble with all kinds of people, I had so much built up anger and frustration with no way to channel it. It wasn’t until I found bodybuilding that I began to get back that discipline I learnt from boxing, and I completely transformed my body, my mind, and my life!
I began to gain muscle and lose fat, I started feeling amazing and stopped drinking and fighting. I learnt to control my aggression and started reading more about nutrition and exercise. I found myself using the gym as a way of channelling my aggression and combatting my body hang ups.
